When I first saw the Rose Gold Glitter HTV, I knew that I had to make a super cute wine project. The issue was, what to make? I saw this gorgeous, felt wine bag and knew this needed some Rose Gold. The lack of seams made it perfect for heat pressing.

• Weeder
To start, I found a wine bottle silhouette that I loved. Then I added the saying “Love the wine you’re with” inside the bottle. I was able to use a few different fonts to make the saying stand out a little more. Once I was satisfied with the design, I made sure to size the design to fit on the wine bag.
After sizing, I selected the entire design and mirrored it since we would be using glitter heat transfer vinyl. When you are using heat transfer vinyl, you want to mirror the design, otherwise, your design will be reversed on your bag or shirt. When I sent the design to cut, I made sure to reference our cut settings chart because I can never remember where to start. I did do a test cut just to make sure I was good to go before wasting this gorgeous Rose Gold vinyl. The settings blade 3, speed 5, and thickness 18 worked perfectly for me.
Once my Silhouette was done cutting this wine design, I was ready to weed. The Rose Gold Glitter HTV weeded as expected. I didn’t have any issues weeding away the small cavities of the letters in the script font.
Then came the fun part! I made sure my Pink Heat Press was preheated to the recommended 320ºF. I preheated the wine bag to make sure there was no moisture in the fibers. Then, I pressed the glitter htv for 15 seconds and peeled my design hot. You can peel glitter hot or cold, but I’m way too impatient for that.
